No surprise for this 3 gigs but you can discover all incredible energy on stage with these Death Metal veterans ! Very very pro filmed the track lists present us all best tracks of VADER since their beginning. This DVD containt fully animatd menu, bio, interview with all members (including Doc\'s -R.I.P.- interview), discography, photo gallery, desktop images, weblinks and an incredible 5.1 sound. <br>All fans of this polish cult Death Metal band must have this record because if, like me, you saw the band on stage LIVE, all feelings came back in your mind when you watch them on your TV ! During all performance of these bands the sound is not equal for all ; sometimes poor sound , sometimes very great sound ! I think for the next edition (I HOPE IT WILL BE A NEW ONE !!!) they must pick the sound to the mix table for a better and regular sound for all bands. But in all cases this double DVD is a real Grind Visual Bible for all Underground maniax.<br>The Czech Republic based festival Obscene Extreme is a must for grindlovers around Europe, year in, year out. Altough this is one of the few European festivals that I actually didn`t get to visit yet myself, I am definitely planning to go there some time, especially after watching this DVD. This double DVD set is one huge report of the 2004 edition of this festival, and it includes a hell of a lot underground favourites including Despondency, Godless Truth, Birdflesh, General Surgery, Prostitute Disfigurement, Extreme Noise Terror, Brodequin and more. It also includes a whole bunch of lesser known bands. Apart from 1, 2, 3 or 4 tracks from each artist that performed on the festival there are some interviews, some fan shots, and some other bonus material on this DVD set. All in all a great compilation, altough very underground orientated, like the festival itself. One pointer for the organisation is that next time they might want to take the sound directly from the soundboard and shoot the whole thing with 3 cameras (one on each side of the stage, one from the mixing table) to portray this memorable festival even better ! | More info on <a href="http://www.obscene.cz " target=_blank>http://www.obscene.cz </a><br><br><hr color=A0A0A0 size=1><br><font size=2><b><u>CRYPTOPSY Trois-Rivieres Metalfest IV</u><br><font size=1></b>DVD 2005 | BLACK LIGHT Creations | 69\' | Shows | Quote : <img src="images/e.gif"><img src="images/e.gif"><img src="images/e.gif"><img src="images/e.gif"><img src="images/e.gif"><br>Very very incredible and intense show recorded the novembre 6th, 2004 at Trois-Rivi?res (Quebec, Canada) in a raw !!!! <br>It\'s the best words I can use. With the great come back of the previous singer \'Lord Worm\', the band offer a unique live performance. A drummer on 220 volts (great and long solo drum !), guitarist very very innovating and a furious bass player. It\'s a very unique Brutal Death Metal experience.<br>All tracks are taken from the \'No One So Vile\' EXCELLENT record and they play with their long experience of the scene : more agressive and technical tracks ! They are better than their studio recording in 1996 for \'No One So Vile\'. I think simply that you must have it or die ! <br>Without compromise, the band show us that they are in the best top 10 Brutal Death Metal band ! This DVD need more bonus to be THE ESSENTIAL DVD for the Brutal Death Metal fans, but it\'s a necessary buying in all cases ! <br>They must proove their complete Raw Power in their next album. Incredible & cult stage !!! The sound for the bass guitar isn\'t well restored and the soundcheck (like several gigs at Frontline !) become better along the band performance... So, the sound is better after 4th song. The band play their low tuned Grind Death with a good second power-tools vocal / guitar player. The belgian fans are not supercharged but like that the band play.<br><b>II.</b> Gig in France<br>The second gig (in France) have a better sound (but only on bass and drum !!!). Ultra heavy bass and raw vocals give to the fans a pure apocalyptic GORE visions !!!! Well played the 2 members band play the tracks with a good inspiration.<br><b>III.</b> Home video clips<br>2 home video clips section. It\'s a self made video clip by the band. You\'ll discover another face of the foetus with choice cut of several gigs with the music from their studio releases<br><b>IV.</b> Live video clips<br>3 live video clips section. I think it\'s one of the best section of this DVD ! Amazing sound (during IMPH\'AMES Festival there is an excellent sound material & technicians !). Recorded live these 3 track show the true face of the foetus : INTENSE !!! The 3 cadavers on stage play their GrindGoreDeath perfectiously and the video technicians capture the raw atmosphere with 3 video camera. Really, really good job ! We are disappointed that only 3 track have this quality...<br><b>V. + VI.</b> Bio / Dico<br>You can read the actual biography and discography of the band, well presented...<br><b>VII.</b> Photo gallery<br>With this photos gallery, you\'ll discover the other face of the foetus : throught PARTY with friend (boyZ & girlZ !!!). This DVD is recommended for people more than 16 years old very intuitive menu navigation. A good DVD without a lot of money but the Undergrind feeling is here and it\'s the most important !!!!
